In the 21st century, internal displacement remains both a cause and consequence of some of the world’s greatest social calamities, including extreme poverty, armed conflict, and inequitable and unsustainable development.

At Fusion, we support communities affected by internal displacement with services in poverty alleviation, education, and community consulting. These efforts derive from the ideas and capacities of displaced persons themselves. After all, if anyone holds the creativity and resilience to confront society’s biggest problems, it is those who have been forced to survive them.
